ふと立ち寄ったロンドンの楽譜店で、美しいケルトのピアノ曲を見つけました。
アイルランドの国民的詩人Thomas Mooreの「The Young May Moon」というアイリッシュ民謡。Carsten Gerlitzのアレンジが素晴らしい。
the young May moon is beaming, love,
the glow-worm's lamp is gleaming, love;
how sweet to rove
through Morna's grove,
when the drowsy world is dreaming, love!
then awake!—the heavens look bright, my dear,
